Engage Teacher Conference

The 2026 Engage Teacher Conference will take place 8-19 June. Book now to get a place. 

An occasion for members of the Engage Teacher Network to connect and share their wealth of experience, ideas, and best practice for engaging young people from groups most often underrepresented in STEM. Join online sessions to hear from teachers, education experts and industry specialists.

2026 conference highlights

Keynote speaker

Make teaching smarter, not harder. Mr P will share a wealth of free websites and tools you can use to support teaching and learning. Awarded an MBE for services to education in 2025, Mr P will be sharing his tips to make the most of digital tools in the primary classroom.

Engage is a community of educators in schools in challenging circumstances who want to transform access to relevant and meaningful science work for all young people, especially those who are most often underrepresented in STEM. 

No, anyone can sign up for sessions at the Engage Teacher Conference. 

However only members of the Engage Teacher Network are able to attend for free. If you are not a member, but you are a teacher working at a school in challenging circumstances, you can join now and receive a code to book your free conference sessions.

You can book tickets on Eventbrite in the lead up to the conference. For each session you want to attend you will need to book a ticket.

If you are a member of the Engage Teacher Network you can use the discount code sent to you via email to get tickets for free. If you can't find your code please send us an email at crest@britishscienceassociation.org.

All the conference sessions can be viewed and booked from Eventbrite in the lead up to the conference.

The Engage Teacher Conference is an online event so you can attend from home or school. 

Once you have registered for sessions you will receive emails from Eventbrite with the Zoom links you will need to join. 

The 2026 Engage Teacher Conference will run from the 8 - 19 June. Sessions will be held at 4-4:30 pm or 4-5 pm Monday - Thursday for two weeks. 

As an online event the sessions of the Engage Teacher Conference are being hosted on Zoom.

Check your emails

You should receive emails from Eventbrite confirming your bookings and providing links to the online meetings. If you can't find these emails, check your junk folder. If you still can't see them then get in touch at crest@britishscienceassociation.org.

Click the link

Click the link in your emails to join the sessions on Zoom. If you are planning on joining from a school system you may want to check with your IT department that you can access Zoom. If you are using a computer, you do not need to download the Zoom app but can select 'Join from my browser'.
