What is the Engage Teacher Conference?
The Engage Teacher Conference is an online event for members of the Engage Teacher Network to connect and share their wealth of experience, ideas, and best practice for engaging young people most often underrepresented in STEM. You can also hear from education experts and experience a showcase of opportunities available to educators for inspiring STEM enrichment.


Talks and speakers
There are a variety of talk types including:
- Teacher panels - An opportunity to speak to, and hear from, other educators as they share best practice and advice.
- Showcase sessions - Hear from a variety of industry experts as they share their free STEM resources or funding opportunities.
- Education experts - Learn how to make your STEM teaching more accessible and inclusive and get advice on applying for grants and making the most of the CREST Awards.

Who can attend?
TThe Engage Teacher Conference is available to anyone who wants to transform access to relevant and meaningful science work for all young people, especially those who are most often underrepresented in STEM.
Members of the Engage Teacher Network can book as many sessions as they like for free. If you are not a member, but you are a teacher working at a school in challenging circumstances, join now and receive a code to book your free conference sessions.
Even if you are not eligible to join the Engage Teacher Network you are still welcome to attend the conference. The cost for non-members is £5 per session.

No, anyone can sign up for sessions at the Engage Teacher Conference.
However only members of the Engage Teacher Network are able to attend for free. If you are not a member, but you are a teacher working at a school in challenging circumstances, you can join now and will receive a code to book your free conference sessions.

Members of the Engage Teacher Network can book as many sessions as they like for free. If you are not a member, but you are a teacher working at a school in challenging circumstances, you can join now and will receive a code to book your free conference sessions.
If you are not eligible to join the Engage Teacher Network don't worry you can still attend, you will just need to pay £5 per session.

The Engage Teacher Conference for this academic year will run from the 2 - 13 June. Sessions will be held at 4 pm to 4:30 or 5 pm Monday - Thursday for two weeks.

You can book tickets on Eventbrite once the conference pages become available.
For each session you want to attend you will need to book a ticket.
If you are a member of the Engage Teacher Network you can use the discount code sent to you via email to get tickets for free. If you can't find your code please send us an email at crest@britishscienceassociation.org.

The Engage Teacher Conference is an online event so you can attend from home or school.
Once you have registered for sessions you will receive emails from Eventbrite with the Zoom links you will need to join.
