Primary and early years
  • Star AwardTypical ages 3-7. Perfect for pupils who are starting their STEM journey. Short, hands-on activities that challenge your students to explore the world around them.
  • SuperStar AwardTypical ages 7-11. Most suitable for upper primary students who want to develop problem-solving, investigation, teamwork skills.
  • Discovery AwardTypical ages 10-14. A STEM project that can be done in one-day, perfect for developing students' teamwork, communication, presentation skills, and confidence.
  • Supporting primary pupils with SEND
Secondary and further education
  • Discovery AwardTypical ages 10-14. A STEM project that can be done in one-day, perfect for developing students' teamwork, communication, presentation skills, and confidence.
  • Bronze AwardTypical ages 11+. An introduction to STEM project work - typically 10 hours - for students working individually or in teams.
  • Silver AwardTypical ages 14+. A challenging, student-led in-depth STEM project of around 30 hours, completed individually or in teams.
  • Gold AwardTypical ages 16+. A high-level, open-ended, independently led STEM investigation requiring around 70 hours of work demonstrating originality and depth.
