How to run a CREST Award for primary & early years

Primary CREST Awards, including Star and SuperStar, are easy and affordable for children typically aged 3-11. Children earn an Award by completing at least six challenges from our resource library or their own choice. We provide tips, guidance, and case studies to help you conduct these activities.

Plan

Browse our free activities in the Resource Library and pick the ones you want to do with your pupils.

You can also choose your own activities. Pre-order Star, SuperStar, or Discovery certificates to have them ready for your CREST event!

Explore

Select and run at least six CREST activities for Star and SuperStar, and one challenge for Discovery.

This is the fun part! Children take on the role of investigators, while you use the Organiser's Card for the activity. You can also run your chosen challenges with the pupils.

What do primary teachers say about CREST?

At CREST, our greatest pride comes from the voices of those who have experienced the journey first hand. Whether it’s a teacher guiding their students through an inspiring project or a student discovering their passion for STEM, the impact of CREST Awards is best told through the stories of those who’ve lived it.
