What do primary teachers say about CREST?
At CREST, our greatest pride comes from the voices of those who have experienced the journey first hand. Whether it’s a teacher guiding their students through an inspiring project or a student discovering their passion for STEM, the impact of CREST Awards is best told through the stories of those who’ve lived it.
"A lot of our children don’t have role models, sometimes not even of someone who has taken STEM on at secondary, never mind STEM careers. So when you can get them to think, ‘oh, this is fun actually and this is challenging and this is interesting’, that might start to change that perception of ‘I might be interested in this’ or ‘I might be able to do this in the future.'"
"The independent learning skills of CREST pupils have come on leaps and bounds."
"As a member of the Leadership Team, the CREST Awards also helped me to raise the overall profile of STEM learning within the whole school community with Governors being supportive of the idea of allowing so many children to access these prestigious awards."
