CREST supporters: making an impact

Thanks to the help of UKRI, and our large range of sponsors and partners, CREST benefits over 50,000 young people each year.

Their support has been vital towards sparking curiosity, building confidence, and connecting young people across the UK with real-world STEM.

Urenco have worked with the British Science Association for over 10 years. Since then, they have worked with us to develop new CREST resources, including components of Urenco’s Richie programme. They also helped the British Science Association launch a new CREST Discovery Award resource and helped CREST open its doors to international markets in 2017. Urenco are now Headline Partners of CREST Awards, thanks to their landmark three-year partnership with the British Science Association, until 2026.

The Worshipful Company of Horners

The Worshipful Company of Horners currently support the Engage Teachers Network and provide support the delivery of CREST SuperStar Kit Boxes. Their support will help 600 disadvantaged young people, enabling them to participate in practical STEM projects and achieve a CREST Award. These resources are invaluable for teachers, giving them the tools and support to inspire their students and foster a deeper understanding of STEM.

Mewburn Ellis partnered with us to deliver a CREST Discovery Day for students aged 11-14. Their continued funding has also enabled CREST to produce schools to receive a CREST SuperStar (Key Stage 2) Kit Box. Over the course of our relationship, Mewburn Ellis have allowed CREST to produce Kit Boxes for schools in disadvantaged areas across the UK.

The Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851

1851 Royal Commission Logo

The Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 has enabled the delivery of CREST Kit Boxes to UK primary schools in challenging circumstances. They have helped deliver CREST SuperStar 'Essentials' Kit Box and piloted a new CREST Star 'Essentials' Kit Box. The project has helped teacher confidence, reduce resource barriers, and engage families.
