‘Mosquitoes and Disease’ is a research project: Students are challenged to think about which diseases are spread by mosquitoes, how they are spread, what can be done to control the spread, and what treatments are available for people who contract the diseases.
‘Food Poisoning’ is a practical project: Students are challenged to think about the symptoms of food poisoning, the microbes that cause it, and the best way to stop the spread of these microbes.
